Wonderful restaurant with many details about railway operations, some from a bygone era. Fast service and friendly staff. Besides the restaurant itself, I can also recommend a delicious Soljanka. It is very nice to spend time here.

Very good food (Thuringian home cooking), fast service, fair prices. The portions were plentiful, and the half-price children's plates were plentiful. The location is a highlight for railway fans, very comfortable and lovingly furnished.

There are delicious cakes, coffee and tea here. Ideal for a short break while hiking or cycling. Easily accessible with the Süd-Thüringen-Bahn on weekends and public holidays from Erfurt and Ilmenau.

The Rennsteigbahn organizes events on a regular basis. We were at the performance of Duo Janna. Was great.

Quaint restaurant with a railway flair, small dishes at lunchtime, friendly staff. Events also take place here on a regular basis, some of them relating to the railway. Recommended as a destination.

What can you say it is just really beautiful there! Food 1+, simple but really tasty and there is strength for the next few kilometers! It is really worthwhile to sit in and take a look at everything! The bratwurst is just delicious and the lemonade too .. Everything to be recommended! Very friendly staff and a young, fresh team, I thought that was great! So take a break there and enjoy!
